Taylor has officially had her first illness. I guess it all started Wednesday night her temp was a low grade fever of about 100-101. I didn't really think much about it because she is cutting more teeth so I assumed it was her teeth. She didn't have any other symptoms so I brushed it off. Well Friday morning she woke up burning up. Her skin was so hot to the touch so I checked her temp and it was 103. So I am kind of worried at this point and give her some children's motrin and put her back to sleep. When she woke up from her afternoon nap she was on fire again. So we decided at this point we should go on to the doctor. When we arrived at the doctor they got her right back and took her temp and it was 105. So at this point I am scared to death and bawling like a baby. My sweet little girl has never been sick before so I am just terrified. Well bless her little heart they did all of these test on her and everything came back negative so they gave her an antibiotic and tylenol and sent us home. She has been a little better but her temp spiked again last night and I got it back down and she has not had a temp since about 4:00a.m. this morning. I sure hope she gets better soon. I swear its harder on the parents to see your child suffering than it is on the child.
